Correios will auction 41,000 items, from ring light to underwear

The Post Office will auction about 41,000 items classified as “junk” on October 24th.

The term is used to refer to objects that have not been delivered to the addressees nor recovered by the senders after all attempts to deliver and the period of right to claim has expired.

The auction items were separated into ten lots, classified into clothing, household items, office supplies, cell phones and accessories, equipment, microcomputers, vehicle accessories, jewelry, books and children’s articles.

The initial values ​​of the lots vary from R$ 1,603 to R$ 33,799.

To participate in the auction, interested parties must register on the Licitações-e platform of Banco do Brasil. Thus, individuals and legal entities can submit proposals through the platform to participate in the online dispute, according to the state-owned company.

The public notice with all the information is available at Licitações-e by number 961250, which must be entered in the text box located in the column on the right. To see more details about the auction, the user must hover over “Options” and click on “View lots”.

To visit the samples of the lots, it is necessary to schedule an appointment by calling (11) 4313-9452 and (11) 4313-8085.

The visitation can be carried out between this Thursday (19) and Friday (20), from 9 am to 12 pm and from 1:30 pm to 4 pm, at the Correios headquarters in São Paulo. The building is located at 592 Mergenthaler Street, 3rd floor, Block 3.
