“Our insurance system is a shambles, there are 1,040 different ways of insurance in the private sector alone,” stressed the Minister of Labor

More than 95% will get an increase in their pensions, while one in two will see an increase that will be roughly equivalent to a 13th pension, pointed out SKAI and Giorgos Autias, the Minister of Labor Kostis Hatzidakis.

The general pension increase of 7.5% will be paid with the February pension, i.e. at the end of January together with the retrospectives of January. 88% of those who have a personal difference will have even a small increase in their income, noted the minister.

Mr. Hatzidakis clarified that the claimed claims through court decisions will be paid separately per court decision.

As far as the 250 euros of the accuracy check is concerned, it will be given before Christmas, while the fourth installment of the recalculation of the Vroutsis law and the abolition of the solidarity levy will be realized with the January pensions, he noted.

“Our insurance system is in tatters, there are 1,040 different ways of insurance in the private sector alone. We found ourselves in 1,500 different procedures when we were trying to speed up the issuance of pensions,” the Minister of Labor emphasized.
