Unicef (United Nations Children’s Fund) has teamed up with producers Kondzilla and GR6 to launch a campaign to promote care against Covid,19 especially during the holiday season. The Awareness+1 action encourages teenagers and young people to take care of themselves, their friends and their families during the celebrations.
MC Hariel, MC Soffia and Fanieh are the protagonists who pass the message through the video for the song “Colabora,” available on official networks.
Recorded by Fanieh, the song provides information on pandemic prevention in different scenarios — Christmas with the family, barbecue with friends and New Year’s Eve parties. Among the tips are the use of masks, vaccination, not mixing glasses and keeping people apart.
To further encourage the spread of care, the hit “Collabora” is available for recording short videos on social networks such as Instagram and TikTok.
“It is essential that adolescents and young people recognize its importance in preventing Covid-19, within their homes and in their social circles”, says Michael Klaus, head of communication at UNICEF in Brazil. “We know that the end of the year is a time for many family and friends gatherings, so it is important that everyone does their part to curb the virus infection.”
