The transactions were carried out in a positive atmosphere at today’s meeting Stock Exchangewith the market closing with significant gains just below the levels of 1,070 units.

Banking shares were at the center of investment interest, while the rise of the market was not accompanied by an increased turnover.

O General Price Index closed at 1,068.24 points, up 1.29%.

Intra-session recorded a higher price at 1,070.85 units (+1.54%)

The value of the transactions amounted to 65.83 million euros, while 23,314,192 shares were traded.

The large-cap index rose 1.41%, while the mid-cap index gained 0.56%.

Of the high capitalization shares, the biggest increase was recorded by the shares of Piraeus (+5.93%), Alpha Bank (+4.53%), EYDAP (+3.69%), Elvalhalcor (+2, 78%), ADMIE (+2.39%) and ELPE (+2.12%).

On the contrary, the biggest fall was recorded by the shares of Terna Energy (-1.22%), Aegean Airlines (-1.05%) and Titan (-0.82%).

Of the individual indices, the Banks (+2.92%) and Oil (+2.29%) indices recorded the biggest increase, while the Insurance (-0.55%) and Real Estate indices recorded the biggest losses Property (-0.36%).

The largest volume of transactions was presented by Alpha Bank and Eurobank, trading 6,802,650 and 3,355,119 shares, respectively.

The highest value of transactions was recorded by National Bank with 8.13 million euros and Alpha Bank with 7.88 million euros.

63 stocks moved up, 38 fell and 20 remained stable.

The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Frigoglass +7.96% and ‘Avax +7.64%.

The biggest drop was recorded by the shares: Ktima Lazaridis -6.90% and Flecopack -4.09%.
