The accuracy will be scaled down but the truth is that “the increases are gnawing away at the income of our fellow citizens” said the Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance
It was a good and dynamic year for businesses – especially the newly established ones – due to the growth from the European and state grant programs, said Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance, Nikos Papathanasis, speaking to SKAI today.
For 2024, 12.5 billion will be given for the development of entrepreneurship and new investments, from NSRF programs.
“We have enough resources and we need more businesses,” said N Papathanasis.
As he explained, two programs are already running for start-ups: the state will cover 50% of a new investment proposal (up to 200.00 euros) while the interested party will be able to get a subsidized loan for the rest.
“The increases are gnawing away at the income of our fellow citizens”
The deputy minister referred to the inflation and precision which – despite the increase in disposable income (with increases in the salaries of civil servants and pensions) are suffering for the citizens.
“Increasing disposable income does not solve the accuracy issue but it does cure several problems
The accuracy will be scaled down but the truth is that “the increases are gnawing away at the income of our fellow citizens” said N. Papathanasis.
