From January 1, 2025, Theodoros Kokkalas, current chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Operating Officer of Ergo Germany, and Oliver Willmes, current chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Operating Officer of Ergo International, will exchange responsibilities on the boards of directors.

Consequently, Theodoros Kokkalas will be responsible for Ergo’s international activities and Oliver Willmes will be responsible for Ergo’s activities in Germany.

Theodoros Kokkalas has effectively and successfully developed Ergo Germany in recent years, making it more resilient and dynamic, resulting in Ergo Germany contributing significantly to the Group’s results. At the same time, Oliver Willmes has consistently restructured the international portfolio, contributing decisively to the significant increase in Ergo International’s results in recent years. Theodoros Kokkalas has held various management positions at Ergo since 2004. From 2004 to 2020, he was responsible for Ergo’s activities in Greece as chairman of the Board of Directors, as well as in Turkey, since 2012. Since May 2020, has taken over as Chief Operating Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ergo Germany.

Oliver Willmes started his career at Ergo in 2004. After various leadership positions in Germany and internationally in the Group, he assumed responsibility for Ergo International as Chief Operating Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors in 2019.
