He explained that interventions will be made on three levels.
First, the economically weaker citizens will be empowered, while subsidies for all electricity and gas consumers will continue.
He stressed that this aid will be horizontal, will affect everyone, households, businesses and farmers.
In fact, he reiterated that there will be an intervention in the fuel. As Mr. Economou said, without complicated procedures the consumer will pay a lower price than the one indicated on the pump.
However, this measure will not be horizontal, but will affect more than those who will be entitled to the first intervention allowance.
Regarding the method of this subsidy, he pointed out that the most easy-to-use solution will be chosen.
