The federal government will release, in the next few days, the consultation on the benefits of Auxílio Brasil and whether the family will receive them. The consultation must be made at the former Bolsa Família APP or at the Ministry of Citizenship’s Relationship Center, through telephone 121.
Payments for the new social program start on the 17th and will follow the usual Bolsa Família schedule. According to the Ministry of Citizenship, withdrawals can be carried out with the Bolsa Família card, until a new card is issued.
Those who already receive Bolsa Família will automatically have the new benefit. In addition to the basic income, it is possible for each family to receive complementary benefits, which vary between R$100 and R$200. Auxílio Brasil will pay up to six complementary benefits.
According to Caixa, the cards and passwords used to withdraw from the Bolsa Família will remain valid and may be used to receive the Auxílio Brasil.
“Families that receive the Bolsa Família through the Caixa Tem application, in a digital savings account, will receive the Auxílio Brasil in the same payment modality and will be able to continue moving their benefit through the application”, says the state-owned bank.
The channels for withdrawing benefits and consulting information remain the same: Caixa Tem application, self-service terminals, lottery units, Caixa Aqui correspondents, in addition to Caixa branches, which return to normal business hours on November 23rd.
According to Caixa, an application called Auxílio Brasil will be launched, which will replace the Bolsa Família application. “Thus, the beneficiary will be able to consult the availability of their benefit through the new App”, he says, in a note.
To be a candidate for the new social program of the federal government, the family must be registered in the CadÚnico (Cadastro Único) and with updated information in the system. Registration is not done over the internet. It is necessary to go to the sector responsible for the Single Registry of the municipality to enroll. Normally, registration is done at city halls, at Cras (Social Assistance Reference Center), or at a service post of the Cadastro Único and the Bolsa Família program.
Registration must be made by a person in the family who is responsible for providing the information of all members of the household to the interviewer. This person must be at least 16 years old, have a CPF or voter registration card, and preferably be a woman. It will be necessary to present at least one official identification document for each person in the family.
The registered family can check if their data is correct and check the registration status through the Meu CadÚnico application. If you need to update the registration, the person responsible for the family must go to Cras in person. In some municipalities, the service is done by appointment.
For the family approved by Auxílio Brasil, permanence in the program will depend on compliance with rules such as a minimum monthly school attendance of 60% for children aged four and five, and 75% for beneficiaries aged six to 21, in addition to observing the calendar Ministry of Health vaccination, monitoring the nutritional status of children up to seven years of age, and prenatal care for pregnant women.
