The stock prices were closed with a mildly rise, as demand absorbed the original bid for profits, with the market closing at a young age of 14 years. The focus of investment interest were found bank shares.

The General Price Index closed at 1,671.35 points, up 0.31%.

It is the highest closure of the meeting of 18 February 2011 (1,715.13 points).

Intra-conference recorded a higher price at 1,671.50 points (+0.32%) and a lower price at 1,658.53 points (-0.46%).

The value of the transactions amounted to EUR 248,672 million, with 53,973,154 shares.

The high capitalization index rose 0.51%, while the mid -capitalization index fell 0.31%.

Of the high capitalization shares, the biggest rise was recorded by Ethniki (+2.90%), Eurobank (+2.06%), Aegean Airlines (+1.25%), Elvalhalcor (+1.19%) and Alpha Bank (+1.09%).

On the other hand, the shares of Coca Cola HBC (-2.57%), Sarantis (-2.15%), Viohalco (-1.73%) and EYDAP (-1.33%) fell the biggest decline.

The largest volume of trading was presented by Alpha Bank and Eurobank with 16,964,664 and 11,522,718 shares, respectively.

Piraeus recorded the highest value of transactions with € 55.68 million and National with EUR 55.33 million.

57 shares went up, 50 downstream and 18 remained stable.

The shares rose the most: Progressive (+8.27%) and Medical (+6.25%).

The biggest decline was recorded by the Attic Publications (-7.41%) and Bioter (-5.22%).
