An open invitation to reform the Black School (Hellenic Arcadia) with resources of 6 million euros from the “Fair Development Transition 2021-2027” program was signed by the Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance Nikos Papathanassis.

Specifically, the action provides for the funding of the upgrading, redevelopment, reconstruction and modernization of the facilities of the School of Black and the Environment, as well as the possibility of supplying appropriate equipment.

The aim is to create an upgraded model training center that will enhance the region’s educational infrastructure and contribute decisively to the fair professional transition, with beneficiaries and the unemployed of all productive and age groups, as a matter of priority of those who have been affected by the economy.

In this regard, special emphasis is placed on the development of new curricula in the fields of agri -food, bio -economy and other “green” professions. The action aims to meet the needs for training both live and distance, through the creation of corresponding educational programs that will meet the development opportunities of the area, supporting the activities of the bio -economy hub in the area of ​​Megalopolis.

The Beneficiary of the Action is called the Hellenic Open University (EAP), to which the use of the School of Education has been granted the use of the School of Education to fulfill its educational purposes. Potential beneficiaries are also appointed by the bodies who will enter into a program contract with the EAP. to implement the action.

Proposals starts on 30/06/2025 and concludes on 31/10/2025.
