A few hours left for those who want to retroactively claim the doses of child allowance A21 who lost: Beneficiaries of the aid who have not submitted the required application in the past will be able to do so until today, before the platform is temporarily closed to receive the third installment and the previous ones. “Enigma”, however, remains whether the amounts of the allowance will eventually be “inflated” – puts on the relevant announcements – as everything shows the plan … it goes back to the “ice”!

As is well known, based on the Prime Minister’s announcements at the TIF in September 2024, the A21 Children Allowance (along with two other reinforcements of OPECA) would increase in rates that would even reach 60% for the third income scale.

Again to … “ice” the increases in child allowance

Although this “brave” increase was initially provided for those who received the A21 at the beginning of this year, the whole process “brake” because it should be combined with a series of “cutters” that were going to “throw” thousands of beneficiaries outside the aid.

And while it seemed that the government would eventually proceed with the payment of the “inflated” allowance, without even adopting new strict criteria for granting it, “fresh” information says that a new overthrow is coming!

The increases … go back to the “ice”!

So according to the relevant information, while the plan to establish assets is abandoned, but with it the table leaves and the “brave” adjustment of the amounts for third -scale beneficiaries! New alternative proposals are being examined that will increase relative amounts … but on a more rational basis.

Indeed, according to the same sources, the final arrangements are expected to be included in the “package” of measures to be announced in September at the TIF by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

Based on the new plan that fell to the table, the income for the first scale child allowance can rise to up to 12,000 euros (instead of 10,500 euros today) with a similar adjustment of the other scales: for example, they receive a child allowance for a child who is up to € 30,000 (26,000 euros). Euro now), for three children to receive a allowance of those who have income of up to 40,000 euros (instead of 37,500 euros now) and so on.

It is recalled that by July it was expected to pay increased amounts of the A21 child allowance (always in accordance with the relevant announcements), as beneficiaries belonging to the 1st scale would see it increased to 75 euros (to 150 euros for the third child and in the next), when the 3rd € 38 per 3). child (and 90 euros for the third child and the following).

Applications for the third installment and retrospectively

And while the “thriller” of the adjustment of the amounts of the A21 child allowance continues, those who are beneficiaries of this aid for 2025 may apply for the third installment on the HIPPA platform www.idika.gr or through the website www.opeka.gr.
The platform will remain open and will receive new applications to this day Monday, June 30, 2025 at 18:00.

Applications can be submitted by those who have not done so far and therefore lost the payment of the first and second installment for the current year.

The amounts of the aid already given are not lost and paid retroactively.

The eligible amount will be calculated on the basis of the dependent children stated in the A21 application of 2025 and in accordance with the latest cleared statement.

Following the submission of this year’s income tax return, the income of the tax year 2024 will be taken into account for the calculation of the eligible amount.

Among the conditions that will be checked for the child allowance are: Attendance of dependent children in compulsory education – from pre -infant to high school – as well as adequacy of attendance.
