Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared on Sunday that, as a sovereign state, Israel will determine its security policy and with which foreign powers it will cooperate, leaving new frontiers for Turkey.

“We have made it clear to international partners that we will decide which forces are not acceptable to us (in Gaza). “This, of course, is accepted by the United States, as expressed by its senior representatives in recent days” clarified.

“We control our own security, and we have made it clear to the international powers that Israel decides — and that is how we act and will continue to act,” Netanyahu pointed out at the start of the cabinet meeting.

There will be no Turkish troops in Gaza, Benjamin Netanyahu’s office also announced on Thursday after reports for disagreement on the issue during Wednesday’s meeting between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the head of Egypt’s intelligence services Hasan Rashad.

“There is no dispute,” the Israeli prime minister’s office told the Times of Israel. “There will be no Turkish involvement” clarified.
