Above 1.6 million passengers They landed this year on the Cyclades islands during the basic tourist season, according to figures announced by the Civil Aviation Authority and analyzed by the MTC Group.

Specifically, from April to August 2025, Santorini welcomed 818,551 passengers, Mykonos 604,963, Paros 124,390, Naxos 83,345, Milos 41,033 and Syros 6,630.

The ranking of the islands, however, changes, given the number of operating businesses. According to ELSTAT, there are 1,402 accommodation and catering companies in Santorini, in Naxos 676, Mykonos 621, in Paros 596, Milos 574 and Syros 207.

In detail, in terms of arrivals per month:

  • In Santorini, 67.150 in April, 126.099 in May, 173.431 in June, 226778 in July and 225.093 in August.
  • In Mykonos the arrivals were 25.022 in April, 67.856 in May, 130.614 in June, 193.710 in July and 187.761 in August.
  • In Paros, 9,901 air passengers landed in Paros in May 20,130, June 28,718, July 33,764 and August 31,877.
  • In Naxos the arrivals were 7,129 in April, 11,712 in May, 20,749 in June, 22,982 in July and 20,773 in August.
  • In Milos, 2,145 passengers arrived in April, 6,279 in May, 10,687 in June, 11,203 in July and 10,719 in August.

As can be seen from the numbers, the largest volume was trafficked in July against August. Also:

  • Naxos had half the arrivals of June and July in May.
  • In Mykonos the largest volume was traded June, July and August.
  • Paros had a steady growth course from May to August
  • Syros, due to the connection with Thessaloniki, had satisfactory performance of June, July and August.
