The widespread fight during the show at the Mané Garrincha Stadium, in Brasília, on Saturday night (21), scared not only the fans but the singer Gusttavo Lima himself. On the morning of this Monday (23), the countryman released a statement regretting the confusion.
“The organization of Buteco Brasília informs that the event held last Saturday (21) had strong security. We regret the recorded occurrences, as we organize an event for the full enjoyment of the public”, says the statement released by the singer’s advice.
In the video, which went viral on social media, a woman appears being assaulted several times by other women during the singer’s performance. In the background, Gusttavo Lima can be heard singing the song “De Menina Pra Mulher”, implying that he had not seen the beating on the show floor. The episode also involved other people in the audience. In the images, a man even throws a chair to end the confusion and the situation worsens.
There is no information on the identity of those involved or the severity of the injuries of those who participated in the confusion. In a statement, the production of the event stated that the reason for the fight was not yet known and “repudiates any act of violence”. It was also informed that a group of security guards acted to prevent the aggressions from continuing at the place and managed to calm the spirits of those involved.
