Singer and tattoo artist Renato De Santa has always loved ink and body modifications and has spent over £7,000 to cover 65% of his body with tattoos – Hard Pics
A man who has 65% of his body covered in tattoos removed pieces of skin from his head to write a diabolical message, the Mirror reports.
Singer and tattoo artist Renato De Santa, 40, has always loved ink and body modifications and has spent over £7,000 to cover 65% of his body with tattoos.
Renato got his first tattoo when he was 18, then went on to get his eyebrows and ears pierced before becoming an apprentice at a tattoo studio at the age of 25. In 2000, he opened his own studio and since then, his personal collection of tattoos and body modifications has grown.
Renato, from Sao Paulo, has many piercings and although he has lost count of the number of tattoos he has, he estimates that 65% of his body is covered in ink. The Brazilian estimates he has spent £7,053 on all of his body modifications, which include silicone implants on his forehead and black eye tattoos.
He also had tongue-splitting surgery to make his tongue look like a snake’s and a painful scar procedure with the numbers “666” etched into the skin on the side of his head, which is Renato’s way of protesting against the Church. He rarely receives criticism for his extreme appearance, but sometimes he gets insulted online. But Renato ignores the comments and stated that his appearance does not affect his love life at all.
He likes to look like a demon and plans to have further subcutaneous implants in his eyebrows, cheekbones and genitals, as well as piercing his private parts. “Nowadays, prejudice still exists. Sometimes I get offensive messages online, but that doesn’t worry me. On the internet the people who message me are usually Christians who say I’m going to hell and promote hate speech. That doesn’t bother me anymore“, he says.
And he adds: “The message I want to convey is that the world is for everyone who lives here, regardless of creed, color, race and gender and that nothing and no one is left out».
