Harry will donate proceeds from the book to charity and it will be published in both print and digital formats
The Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, is set to go public with “his life from childhood to the present day” and his relationship with the royal family in a book expected to hit the shelves in late November.
According to the Sun, the manuscripts have been handed in earlier by the Pulitzer Prize-winning author, JR Moehringer, with a “publishing source” saying that: “the manuscripts have been completed and proofread as required. It is no longer in Harry’s hands.’
The publishing house Penguin Random House spoke of a “personal and honest” memoir. The book is a “credible account of the experiences, adventures, losses and life lessons that helped shape him.” In fact, in an earlier post on Instagram, he emphasizes that it is an “honour” to work with the prince, along with a quote from Harry from the book: “I write this not as the prince I was born, but as the man I have become».
Harry will donate the proceeds of the book to charity and it will be published in both print and digital formats. “I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to share what I have learned throughout my life so far, and I am excited for people to read a first-hand account of my life that is accurate and completely true,” Harry said in a statement.
The chief executive of the multinational publishing company, Penguin Random House, Marcus Dole said that “Prince Harry has drawn on his extraordinary life experience as a prince, a soldier and an expert on social issues, establishing himself as a world leader of courage and his straightness. That’s why we’re thrilled to publish his honest and moving story.”
