Charles, 73, reportedly held a one-on-one meeting with Bakker, 76, at Clarence House in London on October 30, 2013.

According to a report, the Prince of Wales received a donation of £1m for his charity from his relatives Osama Bin Ladenwrites the “Guardian” newspaper.

The Sunday Times claims the future king accepted the payment from Bakr Bin Laden, the patriarch of the Saudi family, and his brother Shafiq.

The 73-year-old Charles reportedly held a one-on-one meeting with the 76-year-old Bucker at Clarence House in London on October 30, 2013, two years after Osama bin Laden was shot dead by US special forces at a secret location near Islamabad.

Clarence House disputes many of the claims made in the report, arguing that the decision to accept the donation to the Prince of Wales’s Charitable Fund (PWCF) was made solely by trustees.

Bakr and Shafiq bin Laden are Osama’s half-brothers, sons of Mohammed bin Awad bin Laden, a billionaire born in Yemen. There are no indications that the brothers are involved operationally or financially in any terrorist activity.

The donation from Sheikh Bakr bin Laden in 2013 was carefully considered by the PWCF trustees at the time. A thorough investigation was conducted, with information from a wide range of sources, including government. The decision to accept the donation was made solely by the trustees. Any attempt to imply otherwise is misleading and inaccurate“, notes o Ian Cheshirepresident of PWCF.

A source with knowledge of the matter denied that the prince was asked to return the money when it was pointed out to him that the sum “would not be good for anyone”.

The news comes a month after it was revealed that the Prince of Wales had received bundles of money from Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber Al-Thani, the former prime minister of Qatar.
