Ezra Miller, 29, was indicted for theft after being accused of stealing alcohol from inside a house in Vermont, in the United States. Local police say he entered the residence and left carrying several bottles.
The case, which has only now become public, would have taken place on May 1, around 5:55 pm in the city of Stamford. The owners of the property were not there at the time of the incident, but security videos would show the actor committing the crime.
Since then, the actor was being sought to receive a subpoena, which only occurred last Sunday (7). He will need to appear at the end of September to be heard by a judge.
The accusation adds to the various legal problems Miller has been involved in in recent times. In March, he was arrested for disorderly conduct. Less than a month later, he was accused of throwing a chair at a customer at a karaoke bar in Hawaii.
In June, the actor was accused of enticing a teenager of indigenous origin. Her parents filed a lawsuit against him claiming that he used intimidation to gain control over the girl, as well as offering her drugs.
After that, another parent accused him of inappropriate behavior with a 12-year-old. According to the website The Daily Beast, the actor was legally banned from getting close to his family.
At the end of the month, Miller was also accused of keeping a mother with her three children, ages 1 to 5, on a Vermont farm where there would be guns. At the time, people close to them told Rolling Stone that they broke up for the children’s safety.
