The American actor “lashed out” against an old film of his Jason Momoa. The reason for the movie “Conan the Barbarian”, remake of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s legendary film, which apparently remains an “open wound” for Momoa.

The actor, who appears in upcoming films such as Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom and Fast X, told British GQ magazine that a film can be fun to shoot, but ultimately end up being disliked due to problems in post production.

“I’ve been in a lot of really crappy stuff, and movies where you can’t do anything,” Momoa said in the interview. “Conan [ο Βάρβαρος] he was one of them. It’s one of the best experiences I’ve had and it’s turned into a big pile of s…s,” he said, bursting out.

The directed by Marcus Nispel 2011 fantasy film, which was released the same year the actor made his Game of Thrones debut as Kal Drogo, based on the books by Robert E. Howard. Arnold starred in the 1982 action film of the same name, and its success brought a sequel in 1984. Momoa wanted the film to be a success, and he did everything he could, but his expectations were dashed.

The star didn’t elaborate on what bothered him about his own Conan the Barbarian, but it’s no surprise that he feels that way. The Lionsgate film, which also stars Rachel Nichols, Steven Lang and Ron Perlman, underperformed at the box office and has just a 25% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes…
