Former Instagram and Facebook platforms is Andrew Tate, a controversial influencer. Meta banned him from the popular social network after violating its policies, declaring him dangerous to “organizations and ordinary users.”
Andrew Tate, as the “Guardian” newspaper writes, was previously a kickboxer, while he became “famous” through a reality show, from which he was removed after the appearance of a video showing him hitting a woman.
His posts on social media have caused a lot of backlash, as have his statements in 2017 that “women belong in the home” and that “rape victims are responsible for the attack”. In fact, the specific statements were the reason for him to be permanently deleted from Twitter. Organizations for the protection of victims of domestic violence have described him as an “extreme misogynist”.
TikTok has also banned Andrew Tate’s official account on the platform.
