He broadcasted in the early years of free radio, starred in big hits in the first period of free, private television. Even if no one had ever seen her in the theater, she is remembered – three decades later – as Irene in ‘Three Graces’. But he did not rest on this success, he did not choose the ease of standardization. He played different roles in the theater, collaborated with young directors. Kindness, humor, directness characterized her performances and her personality. It’s these things about her that made her so endearing, that’s why we’ll miss her. I express my deepest condolences to her family and friends.”
The Deputy Minister of Culture and Sports, Nikolas Giatromanolakis, made the following statement:
“It is with sadness that we say goodbye to the charismatic Mina Adamaki, talented actress, troupe leader, founding member of the legendary Free Stage whose imprint on Greek theater is still very strong. As Irini in Treis Harites, Lena in Astropeggia, Eliza in the National Team of Greece but also as an integral part of many theater and television ensembles, she was loved by the public, who will remember her fondly and will continue to see her in their favorite series. My deepest condolences to her many friends.”
