The lawyer, professor and human rights activist Sheila de Carvalho, nominated to compose the transition team of the Lula (PT) government, reacted with good humor when she was confused with the former brunette of the axé group É o Tchan, Scheila Carvalho. The dancer has not yet manifested itself until the publication of the matter.
On social media, the lawyer explained that she is a lawyer, was nominated for the transition of justice and public security of the Lula government and even played with the confusion. “And not Scheila Carvalho, the dancer,” she said. “I’m sorry to disappoint you, but I promise to hold the tchan and fulfill the task”, wrote the lawyer who does not have the letter “c” in her name.
Sheila also shared a montage with photos of the dancer and her holding a sign at the COP 27 (UN climate conference), in Egypt, which curiously has the phrase from the hit “Dança do Ventre”, by É o Tchan. “This is the mixture of Brazil and Egypt”.
Internet users also joked about the lawyer’s publication on Twitter explaining the confusion with the names. “Even because, if I were the dancer, I would be at the COP, since: “This is a mixture of Brazil and Egypt, you have to have charm to dance beautifully…”, tweeted a user of the social network. While a woman made a parody of an excerpt from the song “Melô do Tchan” to comment on the post: “And you can let me know that, if necessary, she will come on Sunday.”
Another netizen joked about the confusion by posting a meme of the former É Tchan dancer wearing a T-shirt with the Brazilian flag with his hand over his mouth making an admiring face. In the caption: “Scheila Carvalho on the transition team.”
