The singer finds it scary to influence others, but she’s actually quite good at it

Billie Eilish she became famous at the age of 14 and today she is one of the most influential women in the world, with 107 million followers on Instagram.

Her concerts sell out instantly and she is the youngest female solo headliner at Glastonbury and the only woman born in the 21st century to win an Oscar.

In a recent interview with the BBC, she revealed that her relationship with the power that celebrity gives you is difficult. “It’s really hard to have that much power, in general,” he told reporter Megha Mohan. “It’s hard to have power and it’s really hard when you didn’t have power before and suddenly you have a lot. It’s hard not to take advantage of it and abuse it.”

THE Eilish rose to fame with her first song Ocean Eyes which became an overnight hit. In the interview, Eilish recalled how difficult it was for a 14-year-old girl to be in meetings with record companies. Eilish said she suddenly found herself meeting powerful people in the music industry, explaining: “I look back fondly, mostly, but, you know, it was so funny being a 14-year-old girl having hundreds of meetings like that.”

In the same interview Eilish revealed that her favorite song is Your Power, a song about people she’s met who “have influenced others”.

Eilish finds it scary to influence others, but she’s actually quite good at it. She has spoken about living with depression and Tourette syndrome, as well as self-determination.

20-year-old superstar Billie Eilish told Megha Mohan about growing up with her audience, taking control of her career and her excitement that so many female artists are now topping the charts.
