Actor Gustavo Mendes used social networks this Tuesday (17) to assume that he made a mistake in denouncing an aggression, which he suffered on the last 5th, in Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais, as an attempted robbery. The accusation of the comedian, famous for imitating former president Dilma Rousseff (PT), led the Minas Gerais Civil Police to open an investigation into the episode and an inquiry found that the violence had not been motivated by an attempted robbery, but by a fight. .
“The civil police investigation seems to be over, I’m not sure, and I come here to clarify exactly what happened. First, I need to remind you that I took two very hard hits on the head. It didn’t happen the worst, but it was [pedradas] given to kill. And when you get hit in the head, you don’t really remember what happened”, began Gustavo.
He even told all the confusion on the way out of a bar. Mendes said he first argued with two homeless people [um casal] after he refused to give money to help them with a meal. The comedian recalled that he was threatened and that he ran after the attackers during the confusion. Due to the attack, he still had to spend hours awake in a hospital and that this may have led to mental confusion
“The fact is that I was wrong in that complaint, but the act is there. I was the victim of this aggression, I suffered an aggression and I could be dead at that time. In the big cities, violence is increasing, it is a serious problem. Judging me by I was wrong about the facts is stupid”, he explained.
