The famous singer swims naked in a purple pooldancing in clouds of lavender smoke and embracing transgender model, activist and actor Laith Ashley, who plays her love interest.
Taylor Swift has described her surreal new video as a ’70s sultry dream’. Like the other songs and video clips from her album ‘Midnights’ – ‘Bejeweled’ and ‘Anti-Hero’ – she wrote and directed them herself.
Announcing the release in an Instagram post, the singer wrote: “Lavender Haze video out now. There is a lot of lavender. There is a lot of fog.
This was my first “own” video, of the 3 that have been released, and it really helped me get a feel for the world and mood of Midnights. I hope you like it”.
