James Mangold’s “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” will be among the films to premiere at Cannes, according to Variety, following in the footsteps of “Top Gun: Maverick” in 2022.

The 76th Cannes Film Festival will be held from May 16 to 27.

Produced by Steven Spielberg and George Lucas, Harrison Ford plays the famous archaeologist for the last time. Starring with him are, among others, Mads Mikkelsen, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Antonio Banderas.

Although the Festival program is expected to be announced on April 13, there are already the first rumors of other films that will premiere there, such as Wes Anderson’s “Asteroid City” with Tom Hanks and the Martin Scorsese film “Killers of the Flower Moon” with Leonardo DiCaprio.

The President of the Jury as announced last month by the Festival will be Ruben Östlund, the Swedish director who won the Palme d’Or twice for “The Square” and “Triangle of Sadness”.
