He gave his first interview the popular actor Jeremy Renner after the accident he had with his snowplow on New Year’s Day. It will be broadcast by ABC News on April 6 shortly before the premiere of the series “Rennervations” which he presents.

The famous actor spoke for the first time about the tragic incident, while also referring to the difficulties he is facing after the accident and the difficult road to recovery.

The beloved actor, who is seen sitting in a wheelchair, when asked how he would act today in a similar event said characteristically: “I would do it again. And that, because the machine was headed for my nephew.”

In his interview he was particularly emotional, while he broke down in tears when the reporter asked him about the impact the accident had on his family. “I chose to survive. I’m not going to die. It’s out of the question,” said Jeremy Renner. The actor answered another question: “In the mirror I see a lucky man.”

The actor also referred to his pain when he was crushed by the machine, however, as he said, “he was awake every moment of the accident.”

“I could see him in a pool of blood running from his head,” Jeremy Renner’s nephew recalls in the tribute trailer. “I ran to him. I didn’t think he was alive,” he said.

Notably, the famous actor underwent treatment and surgery to address his orthopedic injuries, including 30 broken bones. Renner will undergo physical therapy at least three times a week for several months.
