Rock star Rod Stewart is putting his grand mansion in North Beverly Park, California up for sale for $70 million.

Designed by famed architect Richard Landry in the 1990s, it’s built on a $12 million lot that the star bought in 1991. It’s Stewart’s permanent home, which he shares with his longtime wife Penny Lancaster ( Penny Lancaster) and his two younger sons.

As reported by the Daily Mail, the unique aesthetic home is distinguished by classy details such as marble floors, elaborate wood paneling, impressive plaster details, marble columns combined with crystal chandeliers and unique mirrors.

It has 9 bedrooms, an imposing foyer with marble floors, a grand piano, a library, a dining room, a bar, huge storage spaces, a guest house, two gyms, a swimming pool and a football pitch as the big wolf of rock especially loves football.

According to the house’s sales manager Michelle Oliver, the buyer must be a fan of “maximalism” and want a home that is “different and special.”

The reason for the home’s sale has not been released, but the publication says it is the latest listing by a famous resident after a string of wealthy people leaving Los Angeles.
