A spokesperson for Matt Damon and Ben Affleck’s production company, Artists Equity, told Axios: “We had no prior knowledge of, did not consent to, and do not approve or will approve any material or audio from the film “Air” used by the Trump campaign as a political advertisement or for any other use».

Specifically based on all rights available to us under US copyright law, we expressly notify that in the event of any use of material from the film ‘Air’ by the Trump campaign where approval or consent is required, we do not give such consent“, added the spokesperson.

It is unclear whether Artists Equity plans to take legal action against the former US president.
