American rapper, singer, record producer, entrepreneur and fashion designer, Kanye West or Yeis facing yet another lawsuit.

The new legal issue that is added to a long list of accusations against him was initiated by the photographer Michaela Efordbecause Kanye West allegedly used her photo without her permission.

The rapper shared a photo of the Vogue editor, Gabriela Carefa – Johnson by Michaela Eford’s camera lens in a controversy over messages on social media.

The post was in response to Karefa-Johnson, who called out the T-shirt with the slogan “White Lives Matter” with which Kanye West and models appeared at the show of his brand’s 9th collection, YEEZY “pure violence”.

In her lawsuit the photographer claims that after Kanye West used her photo, she can no longer promote the image or make money from it.

She clarifies that she photographed the Vogue fashion editor in September 2022 and that West posted her photo just a week later. In addition, he is seeking an unspecified amount of compensation for the damage he suffered.

Kanye West’s many anti-Semitic statements led to the cancellation of highly lucrative deals he had with the Gap brand and Balenciaga, as well as the abrupt termination of the Yeezy brand’s deal with Adidas.
