Glykeria, Vassilis Lekkas, Argyro Kaparou, Angelos Theodorakis and the “Mikis Theodorakis” Orchestra join their musical forces and welcome us to the new “Mikis Theodorakis” Park, at the junction of Iera Odos and Piraeus.

Acclaimed artists have reserved for us a program with the composer’s most beloved and well-known folk and lyrical songs, culminating in Zorba’s melody, loved all over the world.

With the World Music Day being the best possible moment, the naming ceremony of the Park by the Mayor of Athens, Costas Bakoyannis, will be preceded in the same place. A due honor to the unsurpassed composer and great Greek, as it has been unanimously decided by the Municipal Council of Athens.

The songs perform:

Glykeria, Vassilis Lekkas, Argyro Kaparou and Angelos Theodorakis grandson of Mikis Theodorakis.

The musicians of the “Mikis Theodorakis” Folk Orchestra:
