Presenter Ana Hickmann, 42, will file a request for separation from her husband, businessman Alexandre Corrêa, 51, in the coming days, following allegations of domestic violence that occurred last Saturday (11), in Itu, in the interior of São Paulo.

The former model herself said this to colleagues at Record this Monday morning (13) when she was at the station’s headquarters to present the program Hoje em Dia, according to what was found. F5. Ana arrived at the scene and presented the attraction without her wedding ring.

To her friends, Ana thanked everyone for their affection, and said that she will try to do everything as discreetly as possible for the couple’s son. The boy witnessed the scene and is very shaken by what happened.

Ana does not want her son to see his parents fighting in a public way, and has currently turned her attention to the boy, with the support of her family who live in São Paulo.

Record offered Ana Hickmann to take a break from work for a few days to be even closer to the child, but the presenter insisted on continuing, understanding that continuing her professional life normally will help her recover.

The divorce between Ana and Correia is complicated due to business issues. The businessman is the one who took care of all the family’s businesses, including licensing the former model’s name for product launches.

It is estimated that the fortune is around R$150 million, arising especially from contracts for the sale of glasses and jewelry, for example.

Understand the case

According to the report contained in the police report, Alexandre Correa pressed Ana Hickmann against the wall and threatened to headbutt her. When she freed herself and ran outside to get her cell phone and call the police, the businessman allegedly closed a sliding door with force, trapping the woman’s left arm, which was injured.

When police arrived at the couple’s home, Correa had already left. Ana went alone to Santa Casa de Itu, where she was treated and released. Afterwards, she was escorted by the police to the city’s central police station, where she registered the police report. She did not request a protective measure.

Earlier, the presenter released a note on the matter. Hickmann thanked fans for their concern, who have flooded social media with messages since the news went viral, after being discovered by the local press.

According to her press office, she “is at home, well and fortunately did not suffer any major consequences to her physical integrity.”

In Hoje em Dia this Monday (13), Ana thanked her for her kindness and said she is not yet ready to talk about what happened. “As soon as I am, I will express everything that is in my heart,” said the former model.
