BBB 24 highlighted Globo’s current bad phase. The premiere, which took place this Monday (8), marked the worst audience for a first episode since the format debuted in Brazil in 2002.
According to audience data obtained by F5shown from 10:25 pm to 0:06 am, the attraction scored 22 points on average in Greater São Paulo.
Each point is equivalent to 207 thousand individuals. Even with the negative index, Globo was well ahead of its competitors in the capital of São Paulo, the main reference for investments in the advertising market.
SBT obtained 3 points when showing “Cúmplices de Um Resgate” (2015), Programa do Ratinho and Arena SBT. Record and Band tied with 2 points in third place.
Globo, however, has something to celebrate. At 10:30 pm, after the nine o’clock soap opera, its average audience in recent weeks was 15 points with the films from the Tela Quente session. In other words, there is potential for growth.
In Rio de Janeiro, Globo achieved 26 ratings points with the debut of BBB 24, according to consolidated data.
In Recife (PE), there were 24 points. Finally, in Salvador (BA), Globo scored 22 points with the program. In all these capitals, Globo was the clear leader.
BBB 24 will be on air until April 16th. The house has 26 participants, but there will be elimination on Thursday (11). The program is directed by Rodrigo Dourado, and with artistic direction by JB de Oliveira, known as Boninho.
