Michelle Barros says she would like to have had more opportunities at Globo: ‘But I have no regrets’

Journalist and presenter Michelle Barros is about to debut on SBT. However, she states that, despite having no regrets about Globo, which she left in the first half of 2022, she did not achieve her dream of becoming a presenter on the channel, and this affected her psychology.

“I presented some ideas, but sometimes it wasn’t the time”, he lamented, while following the parades on the second day of Carnival in São Paulo, at Anhembi. “I would have liked to have had more opportunities, but I didn’t. I realized that I had to open my doors, but I have no regrets about Globo.”

The presenter says she is looking forward to the debut, on March 11th, of her new program on SBT, Chega Mais. “I’ve always dreamed of this. My 24 years of journalism and Carnival helped me bring experience to the program. We have the freedom to work and bring quality to the Brazilian family.”

According to her, “television is a business and audiences matter, but that’s not the focus right now.” She says that Silvio Santos’ channel has been carrying out market research to find out what viewers want to watch, from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm, to face other programs, such as Mais Você and o Encontro, audience leaders in their respective ranges.
