A fan of comedy shows, Tom Brady was the recent guest on a Netflix comedy that had repercussions on social media for its jokes about his and Gisele Bündchen’s separation. The experience, however, will not occur again, if it depends on him.
The former American football player admitted that the comments made about the top model and the divorce affected the ex-couple’s children. “I liked it when the jokes were about me, I thought it was really funny. I didn’t like the way they affected my children,” he said in an interview with The Pivot podcast.
Brady also defined participating in “The Roast” (Netflix) as bittersweet because he thought it would be in a way that would turn out differently, spilling over into his family.
One of the comments made was about the model dating a jiu-jitsu trainer. “She had sex with that karate guy… eight classes a day and she’s still a white belt?” said Kevin Hart, the evening’s host. International websites reported that the Brazilian woman was upset and disappointed with the content.
“I wouldn’t do it again, sometimes you’re naive. I love it when people make fun of me. I always watch three types of programming: football, golf and comedy. I just want to laugh. But you don’t see the whole picture all the time [quando assiste na televisão]”, said the American.
