The first presentation of the new book by the beloved journalist and TV presenter Eleonora Meletis, entitled “My dream was always a purple bicycle”, published by Dioptra publications, took place on the day of its release, May 22, at the crowded Athena Theatre.

By her side Eleonora Meleti found her husband Thodoris Marosoulisher parents, friends, but also colleagues from the journalistic and artistic sphere.
Publisher Konstantinos Papadopoulos introduced the author, who was on the panel together with psychologist and psychotherapist Frosso Foteinaki and Katerina Gagaki. While on the right edge of the stage, an impressive children’s bicycle caught the eye from the first moment.

The explanation was given when the publisher Konstantinos Papadopoulos read the note of Giorgos Meletis to his daughter, which at the end said:
“Finally I owe her a gift. A purple women’s bicycle with a basket on the front handlebars, like the one he dreamed of but never got. I will offer it to her with the same love that I offered her the red one and tell her that we have all lost bikes like this in the same way.”

A dream of Eleonora Meletis came true

And somewhere there we learned that Eleonora’s dad searched a lot trying to find a similar bicycle for adults, but he didn’t succeed, so he finally bought such a cute children’s bike. And if Eleonora can no longer ride it to enjoy the ride she always dreamed of, her daughter Alexandra will always have that dream fulfilled. And Eleonora’s emotion about this could not be hidden.
