Influencer Maya Massafera vented on her Instagram profile this Monday morning (17), after discovering that they were trying to sell a supposed recording of her voice.

In her stories, Maya republished the post of a page that published, through a print, the messages sent by a person who presented herself as a salon receptionist and claimed to have served the influencer and recorded the conversation with her.

“Tell me it’s a lie, guys… This is very serious…”, said Maya about the print, complementing it with crying emojis.

The influencer took advantage of what happened to vent. She stated that her life and her physical and mental health are no joke and are not for sale. “Crime has to be treated as a crime,” she said. She also left some advice in case anyone suffers from something similar: “Never pay! Look for a lawyer, a friend, file a complaint. Under no circumstances negotiate with a criminal”, she published.

Maya also revealed to her followers that this had happened to her previously, when she had not yet accepted her transition. According to her, the case occurred in a hospital where she was treated, and the courts were involved and resolved the situation, in addition to her having received help from the nursing home to identify the person responsible.

On her profile on X, formerly Twitter, the influencer spoke about the fact that she has vocal dysphoria, which means that she has negative feelings about the voice she has today. “It’s not a question of liking it. It’s a question of crying, feeling bad, not wanting to leave the house”, she commented on the network.

In May, Maya announced on social media that she had undergone a gender transition. She stayed away from social media for almost a year. During this period, she underwent sexual reassignment surgery and voice surgery. However, due to a medical error, Maya was suffering from a delay in her vocal recovery, which would explain her not having appeared publicly speaking yet.

“I’m not mute, guys, I’m talking. My voice is weak and hoarse, so I’m saving myself from talking too much. Don’t worry, I’ll soon be speaking normally,” he told his followers.
