With her bags packed and heading to Globo, Eliana said goodbye to SBT after 15 years at home. The presenter opened her last Eliana Program this Sunday (23) already emotional.
In the first block of the attraction, an article about Eliana’s trip to Portugal was shown. “This was the last international trip I took among many others here on the program,” she said, already tearful, at the end of the screening.
The presenter also welcomed Daniel, who sang some songs and wished his friend happiness, without mentioning his new destination. “This new phase of your life will be a very special moment,” said the singer.
Throughout the program, she re-aired a compilation of episodes from the “Renewed Beauty” series, in which she transforms women’s looks. “In these 15 years, we have transformed the lives of 118 women”, recalled Eliana. “I close this cycle with the feeling of mission accomplished, of knowing that my team and I made a difference in the lives of so many women.” Four former participants appeared on the program, bringing the presenter to tears.
“I’ve had a career spanning more than 30 years and everything I do, I do with love”, said Eliana, once again moved, after showing a VT with children she helped. Then, the presenter welcomed some of the children, who sang “Trem Bala”. “We’re going to see each other a lot in this life,” she said, hugging the former child participants.
At the end of the attraction, the presenter called the entire team on stage to thank them. The crying was general. “Working with love and dedication are things that are not in any contract. If you don’t have a soul, you don’t do it with love, you don’t connect with the general public,” she said. “If I could, I would take you with me. There are people here who have worked with me for 20 years.”
“About my boss, Silvio Santos dear, I will be a good daughter as I always have been. He referred to me like that, a few times. Silvio, may God bless you immensely and give you health to enjoy your new phase too. Enjoy , you deserve it. I will take your advice forever. You were my great teacher, thank you for everything and so much”, said the blonde.
The farewell was sealed with a duet by Eliana and Daniel, who sang “Our Lady”. Then, the presenter’s children, Arthur and Manuela, entered the stage carrying an image of Our Lady of Aparecida.
