The last episode of the Happy Traveler season is summer, Greek and Cycladic. Our beloved travelers end this year in beautiful Sifnos.
Eutychis, Elektra and their girls, from the previous episode, are on the white Cycladic island and on Saturday July 6 they continue their exploration, mainly in the southern part of Sifnos.
They start their excursions from Platy Gialos, where they board a boat to visit the most remote and impressive beaches of the island. They go to the Monastery of Panagia Chrysopigi and the Lighthouse, as well as the picturesque Vathi. They then walk to reach the chapel of Our Lady of the Sun, where they attend her annual traditional festival. They also see the Kamares, the Exampelas and a traditional pottery workshop. Finally, they go up to see the sunrise from the highest point of the island, Prophet Ilias the Tall.
A traveling year comes to an end in the best way. From a Greek island, where our travelers enjoy the sun, the sea and the hospitality of the locals.
