In Epidaurus was found Zeta Duke having her 8-year-old daughter Thalia with her for the first time and both mom and daughter – for different reasons – were excited and can’t wait to go again.
The actress published some photos from the unforgettable – for both – evening and wrote:

“A day in Epidaurus. A fantastic day, in which the following were wonderful:

1/ I saw in the framework of the Epidaurus Festival and in a world premiere the performance “Iphigenia in Avlid” by Euripides, directed by Timofey Kulyabin, a masterpiece with modern comments about war, abdication of responsibilities of all kinds and especially about the way of writing history according to the interest of the powerful!

Well done to all the actors, special well done to my beloved Maria Naufliotou and Nikos Psarras, who magically embodied Klytemnestra and Agamemnon, giving the depth and unbearable pain of parents who are forced to lead their child to death.

2/ I went with Thalia, for the first time to this blessed place. And he may not have seen the show (besides the practical difficulties, I thought the subject matter would be a bit harsh for my 8-year-old), but he was in the creative activity group provided to the children while the parents are watching the show.

An excellent idea, even more excellent its implementation by the team of caregivers, who teach the children not only the history of the work that takes place in the theater, through songs and games, but also transmit the messages that the respective director wants to share with the public (e.g. Kulyabin for the fact that we can choose the ending in every story).

Thalia came out enthusiastic and now wants us to plan the next time we come, so that she can, among other things, stay awake at “Leonidas” which we then went to eat and she fell asleep in my arms after 15′”
