After 40 years at Globo, Claudia Raia, 57, no longer has a permanent contract with the network. The actress did not regret her departure and recently reinforced that she would soon be back at the company. “I’m excited for what’s to come in this new path. It’s not goodbye, it’s see you soon. I’ll be back on Globo’s screen soon,” she promised.
On Wednesday (17), the mother of Enzo, Sophia and Luca shared with her followers a post about a campaign to support artists. The artistic class’s initiative calls for opportunities for veteran artists in TV productions.
Claudia didn’t think twice about joining the movement. “We want veterans from Brazilian soap operas and series to play important roles,” she said in the post. In addition, there was also a request: “Support this campaign,” wrote the actress who recently ended a short season of the musical “Tarsila, A Brasileira” in Rio.
In recent months, several veteran actors have publicly complained about no longer being called to do television productions, such as Joana Fomm, Stênio Garcia, Diogo Vilela, among others.
