Dandara Mariana redeemed herself with the Brazilians and decided to congratulate Rebeca Andrade for her gold medal this Monday (5). On her Instagram profile, the actress tried to undo “communication noise” and said that she has admired the gymnast for a long time.
Last Friday (2), Dandara praised Simone Biles and left aside the Brazilian, silver medalist in the previous event. The attitude was pointed out as revenge by internet users, since, in 2021, Rebeca gave Dandara a low score on Dança dos Famosos.
“Avoiding communication noise: Congratulations, Rebeca Andrade, once again! We are gold. You are an inspiration to many Brazilians! And my admiration for you is not new,” wrote the actress.
On that occasion, the athlete was part of the jury and, when evaluating the actress’s performance, gave her a score of 9.9, as opposed to the 10 given by the other judges.
“What a shame that actress Dandara Mariana celebrated Biles’ victory and ignored Rebeca’s achievement just because she got a 9.9 from our diva in 2021,” said one internet user.
