“Sundays in Athens” with free educational and recreational activities for children 3-17 years old and parents, organizes Municipality of Athens.
According to a relevant announcement of the municipality, from Sunday, March 13 and one Sunday every monththe museums and cultural spaces of the Organization of Culture, Sports and Youth of the Municipality of Athens (OPANDA) and the Industrial Museum of Light Gas will host theatrical performances, art workshops, imaginative museum-pedagogical programs, dance and movement workshops, theater-children.
In total they will take place 51 those actions in seven Sundaysenabling young children to get to know “through interaction and play” theater, the arts, museums, the environment, the book, nutrition, diversity.
The places where they will be hosted are: The Industrial Gas Museum, the Central Library, the Arts Center, the Museum “Eleftherios Venizelos”, the Museum of Folk Art and Tradition “Angeliki Chatzimichali”, the Children’s Library, the Gallery, the Cultural Center “Melina” and the Melinako Museum .
