Mani Rego goes to court and asks for recognition of stable union with Davi Brito

Mani Rego, 42, and Davi Brito, 22, ended a tumultuous relationship shortly after the Bahian won BBB 24 (Globo). Upon leaving the program, the former app driver stated that he and the cook were just getting to know each other. Now, she is filing a lawsuit to legally recognize that she was by her side before confinement.

Legal recognition could mean that Davi would need to share the prize of almost R$3 million with his ex-girlfriend, as it was acquired during the period of the probable relationship. Davi and Mani dated for a year and six months. At the beginning of BBB 24, the Bahian referred to the cook as “my wife”. During the competition, she mobilized supporters for her partner. However, after winning, he changed his speech.
