People who do strength or aerobic exercise may live longer. That’s what a study of 416,420 American adults recruited between 1997 and 2014 highlights. The research was recently published in The British Journal of Sports Medicine.
According to scientists, the risk of mortality is even lower for those who perform these activities on a regular basis – one to three hours a week of aerobics and one to two weekly sessions of strength training. Meeting this goal may not be an easy task.
