(News Bulletin 247) – The Board of Directors of GlobalBioenergies held yesterday approved the 2022 annual accounts, which show a ‘controlled’ loss of 12 million euros.

The annual turnover, of 0.7 million euros, includes 98,000 euros of sales of LAST make-up products and 600,000 euros of sales distributed between the sale of Isonaturane samples, the delivery of isobutene derivatives and various services including a research contract initiated with Shell.

‘The 2022 turnover marks a break, going from 100,000 to 700,000 euros, without even taking into account the delivery of the first batch of Isonaturane – among others to L’Oréal – which will take place in the first half of 2023’ , comments Samuel Dubruque, Chief Financial Officer.

Note: operating expenses decrease by more than two million euros between 2021 and 2022. The production of the Pomacle unit has made it possible to recover inventories, thus reducing the industrialization and marketing expense by 1. 4 million euros.

The other expenditure items continue to decrease year on year, while the workforce fell from an average of 45.8 employees in 2021 to 48.8 employees in 2022.

Finally, Global Bionergies posted gross cash of 8.8 million euros as of December 31.
