(News Bulletin 247) – Waga Energy achieved consolidated revenue of 19.2 million euros in 2022 (+56%). 79% of this figure was generated by the sale of biomethane and purification services invoiced to waste storage site operators and 19% by the sale of equipment.

‘ In 2022, the fleet of WAGABOX® units injected 216 GWh of biomethane into the French gas network, i.e. 49% more than the previous year. This increase is due to the start of new capacities, including a very large capacity unit that can produce five times more than the previous ones ‘indicates the direction.

Waga Energy has started the construction of seven new WAGABOX® units during 2022, including five in France and two in Canada. As of December 31, 2022, the Group operated fourteen units in France, offering an installed capacity of 415 GWh/year, and had begun the construction of fifteen units, for an additional installed capacity of 565 GWh/year. These 29 units will represent a total installed capacity of nearly 1 TWh/year.
