Previewed at IBM THINK in May, watsonx includes three products to help companies accelerate and scale AI – the studiowatsonx.ai for new foundation models, generative AI and machine learning (now available); the versatile watsonx.data data warehouse, built on an open Lakehouse architecture (now available); and the watsonx.governance suite of tools to help design AI workflows in an accountable, transparent, and explainable way (coming later this year).
“To date, the platform has been shaped by more than 150 companies from different industries – from telecommunications to banking – who have participated in beta and technology preview programs,” IBM points out.
Later this year, IBM is expected to offer a complete, high-performance, flexible, and AI-optimized infrastructure delivered as a service on IBM Cloud for both training and working with models. foundation.
