The KTEL buses leave for their destinations with great occupancy, reaching 100%. Extraordinary routes are planned in order to serve all passengers.
The traffic is also increased at the exits of the national roads. Already at 11 in the morning queues are observed at the toll gates of Elefsina. From 16:00 until 21:00 the movement of heavy vehicles is prohibited on the national networks, in the exit stream.
At the Athens, Elefsina and Malgaron tolls, along with the toll receipt, drivers receive a paper bag for littering during their journey. This initiative belongs to Together We Can, in collaboration with Olympia Odos, Nea Odos and Egnatia Odos. 30,000 paper bags will be distributed.
