At least 40 people were killed and 45 injured in the fire that broke out today inside a church in the city of Giza in Egypt, as two security sources told Reuters.
The fire broke out due to a short circuit while 5,000 worshipers were gathered at the Abu Shifin Church in Ibaba district, resulting in many of the victims being trampled by worshipers inside the church in the panic that prevailed.
